ABOUT "MEXICO"

Last summer, I moved to Costa Rica on this ridiculous housesitting job where I ended up working a little bit but mostly surfed and played poker with locals. It was the best time of our lives, but it wrecked us. When I eventually moved back to OKC and settled back into my cubicle, I started to feel disillusioned about days spent working 9-5s with no end in sight. “Mexico” is an escapist fantasy love song dedicated to the dream of moving to a coastal town: to be poor and happy together. Let’s move to Mexico, baby.
