Kommun 2 is pleased to announce the release of the eponymous debut album from Swedish act HUGGORM on July 2, 2011.
Out of the punk squats and trailer parks of the southern outskirts of Stockholm comes this exhilarating 11 track album, featuring homegrown, garage-style power trio riffing and exceptional songwriting in the borderlands between Punk Rock, 1970s Swedish Progg, Power Pop, and Hard Rock.
Every song on the album is brimming with the excitement of a new found love of playing, and the sheer exuberance and desperation of the performances more than make up for any rough edges. The Swedish language lyrics are delivered in a voice that is at the same time vulnerable and energetic, despairing and irrepressible.
