Traumwaben by VACUITAS

Composed between 2008 and 2012, the Traumwaben (‚dream combs‘) are short piano pieces inspired by the musical minimalism of artists such as Erik Satie and Moondog, by the French Surrealist movement around André Breton as well as the experiences of nostalgia and the inner child, by this peculiar presence that is both, gloomy and sanguine at the same time. Each piece was written to capture a moment of this ineffable boundary:

Released on 100 pro-done audio tapes in spring 2017 through HEIMAT MUSIK.
