Who Cares? by Houseboy

LDP003 – Who Cares?
Houseboy's second album, Who Cares?, was recorded on October 24, 1994.
It was never officially released just twenty or so handmade cassette copies,
passed quietly to close friends and club promoters,
kept alive by word of mouth and dim-lit stages.
Most of the songs on Who Cares?
were the very first the band ever wrote
some dating back to the early days
when the band still called themselves the Sneetches.
Rough edged and raw, these tracks carry the energy
of basement rehearsals and borrowed gear,
of figuring it out loud.
Five songs later resurfaced on the 1st repress of So What,
and all were eventually remastered
for the Houseboy compilation Easy There, Turbo,
alongside the debut album So What!
and a few early demo cuts.
Now, for the first time, Who Cares?
has been remastered and released
the way it was always meant to be
loud, loose, and alive.

Essential 90's Punk band born in ’94 from California roots and raised in Chicago’s grit and noise, Houseboy burned fast, then vanished. Their sound: raw nerves, rusted hooks, and restless hearts. Decades later, the silence breaks. Older, louder, unrepentant, they're back, not to relive the past, but to set it on fire all over again.
