L’égarement by Frédéric Tentelier

Frédéric Tentelier is an artist and composer residing in the Opal Coast region of northern France. He creates music using a variety of instruments including organ, Fender Rhodes, banjo, percussion, voice and objects, as well as field recordings. He also composes music for and directs many musical theater productions.

The CD "L’égarement" is comprised of three works produced by Frédéric Tentelier between May and October 2023, taking inspiration from the labyrinth legend in Greek mythology. Tentelier creates gentle, dreamlike sound using Fender Rhodes, prepared glockenspiels, pitch pipes, harmonium and field recordings.

Frédéric Tentelier はフランス北部のオパール海岸地方に住むアーティスト / 音楽家。オルガン、フェンダー・ローズ、バンジョー、パーカッション、ヴォイス、オブジェクトなど種々の楽器やフィールド・レコーディングを使って音楽を制作。また、ミュージカル・シアターの仕事に携わり、多くのミュージカル・シアター作品の音楽制作や演出を担当している。

本CD『L’égarement』は、ギリシャ神話の迷宮（ラビリンス）伝説から想を得て、Frédéric Tentelier が2023年5月から10月にかけて制作した3曲構成のアルバム。Tentelier はフェンダー・ローズ、プレペアド・グロッケンシュピール、ピッチ・パイプ、ハーモニウム、フィールド・レコーディングを使用し、柔らかく夢想的な響きを生み出している。
