Chaff by hideaway folk family

dear You,

Here is Chaff, aka Chubb. It has been digitally perfected into another flawed masterpiece. You must know that I never had guitar lessons, I never had support (other than a few dedicated individuals), I never had anything but the will to communicate the things that I HEARD, and the desire to do it using the tools I had available: My guitar, my voice, and my home karaoke machine.

It may not mean a thing to a world obsessed with pop perfection and production value, but I made these tapes out of my MIND and little else. Sometimes even without the help of my mind; so, basically, out of NOTHING.

and I MEANT IT.

I am trying to forge a path of communication, which has been intermittent and staticky till now at best, but I will not be dissuaded.

I will achieve my goal.

I still hand OBJECTS to people by hand, as that is the way to PUT SOMETHING INTO SOMEONE ELSE’S LIFE PATH, at least the way I have found most effective.

As far as I perceive, the internet is similar to chucking one of my CDs out into the bushes and then waiting for someone to come by and look for it. And occasionally I buttonhole a stranger and point toward the bushes.

I have spent most of my life learning how to write, perform, and record these little bits of homemade mgaednnieusss. I intend to work till Paradise on polishing these imperfect pieces of perfection that I produce. I cannot be bothered with practicing the perplexing intricacies of PR.
