The Human Hot Pocket returns with a brand new double album of experimental harsh noise. With contrasting moods, flavors, and textures, this release is a diverse and expansive musical journey. Tracks 1-8 titled Guest Room Blues are slightly mellower (?), a sparser more ambient adventure while tracks 9-15 titled Puree Demon instead offer an abrasive scrubbing, with haunting assaults of harsh noise that build and build to a fever pitch. Like chocolate and peanut butter, best enjoyed together

Many strange and discomforting things lurk in the backwoods of Ohio, but few command the same rapt attention as the Human Hot Pocket. HHP dispenses experimental noise that offers a brusque aural scouring. Though at first glance monolithically unapproachable, brief moments of beautiful clarity punctuate the inky black, pulling the listener back again and again.
