This is a happy little track I wrote in 2020 whilst reflecting on the early years of my childhood. That time felt like it was bathed in eternal sunshine - everything's so vibrant, fun, and exciting.
When you're a kid you have absolutely no clue where you're gonna go, or how drastically you'll change as a person over the years. Brief moments of longing puncture the warm tones of childhood nostalgia, for of course it's only through retrospect that you know you can't go back no matter how hard you try.
