Irish Breakfast from elsewhere by elle
This track was an experiment, for I wanted to use as little amount of instrumental layers as possible. A bright bell synth underpins the entire song as deep basses and syncopated percussion add body to its choruses.
Its subject matter focuses on a brief, intense crush I had. We were in that phase where you're both testing the waters, so to speak. One day they gave me an 'Irish Breakfast' tea bag because I told them the reason why I was in the kitchen with them was to make a tea, but I'd forgotten my tea bag. The reality was that I just wanted to talk to them lol. Nonetheless, the me off the time was thoroughly smitten by this gesture of theirs, so I wrote this!
