Apollo Bay from elsewhere by elle
This track is half based on memory, half based off a lucid dream I had. In both cases the setting was a seaside town I would visit when I was young, Apollo Bay. In my dream I was my childhood self, walking alone up to the shore. I had this sense of connection with this version of me, as if I had reclaimed the many terrible things which happed to that child.
I woke up after the dream feeling reassured that I was on the right course in life, and chose to write what became this song as a message of hope, love, and steadfastness to my younger self.
