In 1989, HET reached what can be called their commercial peak. 2 of their songs were included in CD compilations, meaning “Die Rot Muus” on “Swiss Techno Sampler - Real Noise” in May 1988, and “Die Kleine Tankstelle” on “Electric Dance Sampler 1989” in…1989. The latter song would also beneficiate of a music video directed by Basil Vogt, the brother of Kornel.
"Die Rot Muus", in an older non-lyrical version, would also be included in another Basil Vogt short movie, "Auf der Strecke geblieben".

By the end of the year, HET will record their 4th album, "Fliegerträume", which also will be their last. Indeed, the lack of success played a small part in it, but mostly the fact that all the members started to become adults, with a life, partners, children, jobs, etc...And had no more time to consecrate to the band anymore.

And if we want to be honest, it’s not the best HET album ever lyricwisely. There is obviously no instrumentals, but some songs are quite funny, which is not bad, but kind of break the progression the band had. This album also have the least favorite Franz song, "Fliegerträume", ironically the one naming the album.
But that don't mean all the songs are like that, and a lot of them still deal with very serious themes, such as anti-sexism, anti-racism, anti-Nazism or depression, among much others.

For copyrights reasons, “Trabant” from the original release isn’t on this re-release. We do apologize for this situation.
If you see uploads of Trabant on YouTube or anywhere else, it's just pricks that didn't respected the wishes of the band. Don't support it.

Swiss synthpunk/new wave band. It follows "Niohn 500", and was active from 1987 to 1990.
