OZONE* has little to do with the musical clichés often associated with the saxophone. Instead it creates a space where elemental sounds, such as the sine waves used by the earliest synthesisers, or the iterative sequences of digital processing, are able to intersect with the raw breath and other 'saxophonic' artifacts produced by Bertrand Gauguet's instruments.
* Ozone is the gas which is given off when an arc light is switched on.
