Victoria Raincloud from Faded Star by Hello Whirled

she sailed over Japan’s Zephyr Sea
siren of a new generation
every heartstring pulled over her knee
and snapped into a soft penetration
rainbows of black color acted as North Star
and with that she traveled very far
and as the trips got tiring, she got up and left
never to return

sounds and waves for days
life a loveless maze
stature high and proud
no one could do it like Victoria Raincloud
sailing higher seas
hair blowing in the breeze
underneath the knees
no one was quite like Victoria Raincloud

after a seastrong rest
she got up and locked her chest
every possession and weapon she owned
would have to stay at home
decided it was time to lay low for a while
even strangers knew her smile
so she donned a mask and cut her hair and went on the town
yet they couldn’t take her crown

and so beside herself she yawned
and so beside his body it dawned on her
this newest emotion
this new elation
this highest regarded old sensation
she missed it so
she craved it much
but she didn’t want it more

they called it love
they said if you held a lot
you’d end up above
when the time was right
she knew it was the thing to do
but she wasn’t really up for something new
the seas kept calling her name
and in the end she knew she felt the same

back to songbird youth
chest armed, bared for routine

she left the dock and thought to cry
couldn’t bear the thought of pretending to fall for another guy
besides, her heels were uncomfortable over her head
at last she knew she could be alone when they found her dead
