Guided Mediation from Equinox by Hello Whirled

there's a candle in my head that doesn't go out
but this week it's been getting close
the wax unraveled, left some mental crayons
that painted awful pictures of my final throes

what a pretty picture, don't deface it
the canvas is bleak, but there's
more room for color
more time to let it dry
what a great idea, never change it
the lightbulb is dim
and potential is slim
okay maybe it's not worth it

frames cut off from different reels and collaged into one
blinking little lights that never burn
off days overwhelming on and never letting go
look at all these plans I made
bet they all go to waste
