"Writing music is odd. Rarely, but sometimes, there’s this thing that happens where multiple ideas from very different periods happen to speak to each other across time. Summa’s the result of one of these moments.

Two old demos that existed apart, gathering dust, now living a new life in one another’s company. It’s a love story for the peculiar who long to be needed and to belong. Proof that there’s someone for everyone, you know?

Roughly speaking, the song is about regret. Not long term regret. Just short term regret that feels like short-term paralysis. But, at the end of the day, life goes on and you move again.
