'Fragments' encompasses just over 21 minutes of purely improvisational work by Pepo Galán, a composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer hailing from Spain.
"Most of my work is based on sudden improvisations. I just start recording without knowing the results. The tracks on this album were recorded only with guitar and some pedals. 'Siren' was recorded only with a Loop pedal, an Avalanche Run, and my voice.' -P. G.
Pepo Galán is also the founder of the El Muelle imprint based in Málaga, Spain, dedicated to the exploration of new sounds, experimental musicians, and proposals resurrected from a recess with infinite depth.
