Detectorists by Harvey Robinson

Detectorists is a BBC comedy series about two friends who go in search of their hearts' desire with a couple of metal detectors. Mackenzie Crook wrote, directed and starred in the show alongside Toby Jones. Available here is the version of "Helium Feathers" that appeared in the show, as well as "Wolves", an alternative track written for Sheila to dance to, that never made it to screen but is rather lovely in it's own special way. "New Age Girl" was written for Detectorists and was performed on the programme by Crook and Jones. Here, you can find my original demo recording, spruced up as a charmingly English memento from this beautiful comedy.
