Neverending from InnerAction by Harry Lieben

The song reminds me of the boy Atreyu being carried by the flying luckdragon Falkor in "the Neverending Story". There is something magical about that song. But unlike the happy care-free music from Giorgio Moroder's soundtrack, beside the thrill and adventure, there is also a sense of danger and unease. Will it really end well? Enter the tale...

Neverending was recorded very late at night and it just all pieced together instantly. From the start no doubts. It's pretty much guesswork how the echo works out because I record my songs without it, so there is no feedback for my ears. And yet, recorded in one go and no cuts necessary. I only had to suppress noise, normalize the volume and add the echo.
