Night Again
(at last some time to spend)
time to sit back and sink into
(play and sing)
the couch again
(wish this would never end)
drift on time, which always runs too quickly
(too fast)

elevens here
(watching, listening, singing, playing)
now twelve is near
(dreaming, scheming, stoking, burning)
half past one
(laughing, wishing, hoping, coping)
two twenty's fun
(vacation day)

don't want to sleep
(don’t want this night to end)
just one more episode or two
(watch and play)
just one more turn
(Mr Sid strikes again)
I think I play a song... for who?
(for me and you)

three forty six
(watching, listening, singing, playing)
four twenty kicks
(dreaming, scheming, stoking, burning)
five fifty two
(laughing, wishing, hoping, coping)
the night is through
(vacation day)

it's now the end
(in bed I lay again)
sleep comes with not much effort
(sweet dreams?)
recharge again....
