Time Traveler by happycatfactory
This is number 20. I've been making these for a decade now. Time flies.
These songs start where the last ones left off and go through about early November.
1. Reset: I had like 4 tracks for this album finished and after I listened to them a few times I realized that they were not at all what I wanted so I shelved them and started fresh.
2. Lack Thereof: Just like the last track, I felt the ones I had originally made for this were not good enough.
3. Ya Blew It!: Janet came to visit and we played a card game called "Ya Blew It". Something about that phrase is so good. Depending on your tone of voice it can be nice or mean.
4. The DALLES: This is the name of a town in Oregon that's about an hour away. It's pretty nice and idyllic and we still need to go back.
5. Crispy Chicken Nuggs: Pretty self explanatory.
6. Smoking Gun: I got a little food smoking gun @ work and although a completely foreign concept to me, now that I have all I can say is that is works wonders.
7. Once More: This song here sounds oddly familiar....
8. Holy Mother: Figaro is one of our cats we left behind in Los Angeles. She is the mother of 2 of our cats and one day we will return to take her. A lovely little creature.
9. Apple Jam: Alyssa got super into apple jam recently and started putting it on bread with CHEESE.
10. 44 @ 2:00PM : It's cold here, and it is only getting colder.,
11. It's Her Alright: I think originally this one was going to be about Figaro but then I went back and made another one and this one is a leftover.
12. Tuna Boy: There's a smol cat that lives in the apartment complex but is homeless. He hangs out by our door and us + the neighbor lady feed him. He's a nice boy and apparently his name is Batman.
13. Sneeze: I got a terrible case of the sniffles and it destroyed me. You ever sneeze so much that it starts to hurt? I have.
14. Traveler: Janet came to visit us for a week and we got to hang out with her and show her stuff.
15. Zombie Head: Like I mentioned before, I was very sick and it felt like my whole face was plugged up and sinuses and headache and all the things that are no fun.
16. The Factory: The longest track I've ever made. It features a very familiar tune towards the end. I wish WarioWare had more than just 4 simultaneous instruments because even just adding one more could totally open up for more complex songs. Either way, I wanted to make something like this since this is album 20 and it is basically the end of a decade long project. (I will make more stuff but this feels like a "end of chapter" of sorts to me).
As always, thank you to Nintendo and Intelligent Systems for making this glorious little video game that has brought me 10 years of entertainment and thank you Alyssa for telling me to keep going when I was over it.
