Drop Location by Hal Warren & Nick Vanover
This is a collaborative album with Tennessee based producer Nick Vanover. We met in the summer of '23 in Berlin when we were living in the same apartment building on the edge of the neighborhoods Kreuzberg and Mitte.
We wanted to make something that captured the energy of Berlin, from the crazy underground techno influence to the early Berlin hip hop sound adopted from American influences. This project is bass heavy, with more melodic expressions, and a fresh take on Hal Warren's typical old school inspired sound. This is an evolution.
