Nicola writes: “Freefall, self-written, recorded and produced is the first single from my planned eighth upcoming solo album to be released in 2025 of which the next song is in motion.

“I woke up with the line in my head, “How could you learn something?” The seed planted, Freefall evolved after reading about archetypes related to the hero’s journey. I also experimented in my home studio with some new ideas.”

Nicola was the bassplayer and sometimes vocalist in Swirl, the band who soared in the 90s with releases such as The Last Unicorn and Aurora.
