duckegg belongs to an old Tascam 4-track reclaimed from the loft. What started off as a nostalgic covers project (the as yet to be completed Boxroom Bangers) evolved into some original folk tunes that, by design or otherwise, capture domestic life in all its kitchen table turbulence. An off-key keyboard. A toddler on accidental backing vocals. All put down on a TDK 90 that will soon return to that great storage hatch in the sky.
