Blech Elektrik, Solo Saxophone and Electronics, commissioned and performed by Dr. Randall Hall for the Shockingly Modern Saxophone Festival, Rock Island, USA in 2023.
This piece combines ancient electronic measurement equipment with the saxophone. The timbres mesh and divide, they are a conversation. Composed as I would play live, the piece is raw yet precise.
