"KPD Revision is a zeitgeist of Sonnig 991's work over the past 4 years, and serves as a precursor to his upcoming album "KPD Tradition". The artwork displayed on the cover is a painting by George Grosz, a member of the KPD (Communist Party of Germany), but was excommunicated by the party for his artwork and radical magazines. Most of his art stems from the idea of depicting the world as it is, in all its sobriety, and would occasionally make use of newspaper clips and found objects. Much like Grosz, the KPD albums seek to create a world out of different samples and construct what is the barest representation of Sonnig 991's music." - Sonnig 991
