La Gaita de Tambora del Sur del Lago de Maracaibo, se impone al compás de la Tambora y el Tamborito, ese instrumento de origen Efik (Nigeria) que se asentó en las comunidades que bordean esa inmensa laguna de agua dulce. Una armoniosa introducción con el saxo soprano, nos recuerda la incorporación del Clarinete qua hicieron los afro zulianos, en el pueblo de Gibraltar, a este género musical afrozuliano. , es una mujer parecida a la Gaita de Tambora, con saya, levantándose de madrugada, para conseguir la alimentación, el cuaderno y el lápiz para que sus hijos vayan a la escuela. Este es un canto a la mujer, a la madre que solitariamente lucha per la felicidad de sus hijos e hijas. Madres solitarias, afrodescendientes o no. ...pobres.... madres que asumen en soledad la construcción de hogares donde la irresponsabilidad paterna deja una profunda herida... a veces incurable. No se trata de victimizar a Susana sino, lejos de seguir repitiendo "oye negra muevete pa.ca a pa'lla...pa' goza" se trata mas bien de expresar musicalmente y con una hermosa armonía, sin rencores, sin odios, que hay otra dura realidad sobre la espalda de todas las Susanas del mundo.
The Gaita de Tambora del Sur del Lago de Maracaibo, is imposed to the beat of the Tambora and the Tamborito, that instrument of Efik origin (Nigeria) that settled in the communities that border this immense freshwater lagoon. A harmonious introduction with the soprano sax, reminds us of the incorporation of the Clarinet made by the Afro-Zulians, in the town of Gibraltar, to this Afro-Azulean musical genre. This is a song to the woman, to the mother who alone fights for the happiness of her sons and daughters. It is not about victimizing Susana but, far from repeating "hey black move pa.ca a pa'lla ... pa 'enjoy" it is more about expressing musically and with a beautiful harmony, without grudges, without hatred, that there is another harsh reality on the back of all the Susanas in the world.
