Morgengry from Grimmthurs by Grimmthurs
"Morgengry", which means "dawn" in Danish, is Grimmthurs' most doom metal-oriented track to date. It is inspired by Autopsy's classic albums, but also draws on black metal aesthetics, being deliberately kept minimalistic.
Grimmthurs is a Danish band whose style combines death metal, thrash metal, and black metal with elements from melodic death metal, grindcore and doom metal.
The band was formed in 2006, and its members have agreed to involve elements from whatever extreme metal genre they want regardless of the boundaries imposed by genre trends.
