The lyrical theme of the song is centered around a thought that it's everyone's own choice, whether or not they want to spend their whole life sitting in the same old office, wearing their white collar shirts and serving others in order to get paid, or if there actually is something more meaningful to be found from life.

Griefsoul is a one man griefmetal orchestra. The music can be described as guitar-riff driven melodic death metal with an eerie melancholic twist. Most of the key influences for the music are mainly rooted in the 90's and 00's style metal. Griefsoul was created by Emppu Kinnaslampi during autumn 2020 and the first song came out next year.
