Once upon a time I would have let this go
But that spell passed away so very long ago
Intervals of insight form a precipice
Overlooking a future that we may never know

Inside this precious moment

A bittersweet delusion
Praying for a lost eternity
I’ve come to this conclusion:
Something changed my whole reality

Time has no love for me in this seemingly
Dejected destiny

For years I trusted everyone around me
But I quickly learned
Not everyone should be
Through tears I watched the evidence surround me
Infatuations burned
Into ash inside of me

I’m quite sure I never felt this way before
Sensations overwhelming me
Eclipsing despondency

Amazing possibilities of heretofore
Lifetimes unimagined
A precious gift for Thee

Spontaneous intuition
Curiosity infecting me
Touting new devotions
Causality redirected

We are now resonating
With inner confidence
No longer awaiting
External recompense

Lust and trust are reckless commodities
Not what they ought to be
And prone to fade away

Devotion is an unstable oddity
A fleeting harmony
It can evaporate away

Oceans of time roil before us
The tide will always turn
And our emotions will churn
Still the dregs of doubt are crumbling now
The walls of hesitation are finally breaking down

We are defined by how we love
When in free fall, there is no pressure from above

We shall Become – something more
Weakness undone
We shall Become – something new
Unified and strong

There is no limit to what we can achieve
Our only limitation
Refusing to believe in ourselves
This life is the only thing that we have for sure
Take your full measure
And know that only through love will WE ENDURE
