Talk from Airport by J-Cray-Z
Originally conceptualized as a b-side for a charity single release that the Bears planned to do for their 24hr charity stream in 2023, this song was also one of the later additions to the album.
The beat was provided by no other than Alex fucking Blood.
Blood can be credited, along with his group mate Simon Jones, as being the one to show Jay that using your own fucking accent while rapping as someone from England was absolutely fine. A VALUABLE lesson.
The song was written partly back in 2023 and partly in the closing stages of this album.
Verse one was, naturally, written at the time with the second verse coming out ridiculously quickly when the decision was made to include it on this album.
The chorus was actually written and recorded in demo format by Krusty during the original sessions but later stolen by Jay for the final version.
Krusty's vocals are actually still there, buried in the mix, on the second run of the chorus!
