Birdcatcher by Glowworm

Part of the "Haruki" Compilation EP on NOOX Records celebrating the work of author Haruki Murakami. "Birdcatcher" is based on Mackerel, the cat character in Murakami's excellent book, "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle." A good album for the imagination - train rides, late nights, or wet sidewalks reflecting neon lights.

Glowworm is the music of guitarist & producer Kevin Scott Davis and pianist & vocalist Asia Dojnikowska. Classically trained composers, the pair trade intellectualism for simplicity & beauty, often with a melancholic gravity. The project blends a mixture of live strings, piano, ambient guitar textures, & ethereal vocals.
