야간비행 (night flight) by GLAM GOULD

언젠가 먼 곳으로 떠나던 밤 비행기에서 보았던 해, 달 그리고 별, 구름을 부수며 번쩍이던 섬광과 이름 모를 나라의 먼 발치에서 내게 오던 불빛을 잊을 수 없을 것이다. 돌아오던 날의 풍경은 굳이 눈에 담지 않았지만 그렇다고 영영 떠날 작정이었던 것은 아니었다. 꿈같던 야간비행의 기억을 더듬으며 어두워진 도시를 부유한다. 도피는 소중하다.

The sun, the moon and the stars. The lights flashing through the clouds. The distant lights from the cities I never knew. All of these I saw from my night flight to a faraway place one day and I can never forget. I did not pay attention to them on the way back home, but I didn’t plan to leave them all behind forever. Now I’m floating above my city trying to reminisce those memories again. It was a dreamlike night flight. Escape is precious.
