George Morris began making an impact on the Detroit music scene in the mid 2000's with the Satin Peaches. The band gained exposure when they signed with Island Records. In 2012 he recorded a solo record entitled Organ Solos. In mid-2013, Morris, along with bassist, Aaron Nelson got together with Helena Kirby (keyboard) and Zach Pliska (drums) to form George Morris & the Gypsy Chorus.
