Two double-time bourrées written by two hurdy-gurdy players from Hampshire, where we come from and where Helen is still based. ‘Raspberry Bourrée’ is by Su Eaton, and ‘Ses filles mineures’ (their younger daughters) was written by Clare Rose in response to the tune, ‘Les femmes du Si bémol’ (the ladies of B flat) by Michèle Chevrier-Reuge, using the same chord sequence and similar melodic motifs.
