‘Organised Chaos’ is a testament to Gemma Farrell’s melodic, inventive, funky, soulful musical expression. Gemma is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist with an individual voice on alto, tenor, baritone and soprano saxophones. The superb band of James van de Ven, Christopher Sealey, Kate Pass and Ryan Daunt bring Gemma’s compositions to life creatively and energetically. From the strong groove of the title track, to the warm and heartfelt lyricism of ‘The People At My Place’, to the bluesy swing of ‘One For Fresh’, this collection of music is beautifully orchestrated and realised.
