Imperfect from GBE (English) by Michael Snowdon

Mike Snowdon wrote the song Imperfect (Spanish: Imperfectos) as the theme song for the GBE national camp 2017. The verses of the song are based on various Bible texts from the book of Judges. In these, just like the people of Israel and even the Judges themselves, we recognise that we are imperfect before God. But it doesn't end there. The first chorus, based on Hebrews 10:12-14, praises Jesus, who alone is perfect, for what he did for us, accomplishing what none of the judges ever could - the victory over sin and our rejection of God. The second chorus, based on 1 Corinthians 6:9, rejoices in what Jesus has already done in us, such that we are now perfect like him.
