Parkland by Parkland
As a teenager, I was big fan of Belgian bands like Orange Black, Fence & Star Club West. I went to gigs every week while dreaming of one day becoming a musician myself (but that's an entirely different story).
Lots of underground gigs were organised in JK2470 in Retie at that time: The Low Frequency in Stereo, Vandal X, Jûrgen De Blonde, Amenra and many others took the stage and absolutely killed it.
Then one day I attended a Parkland gig there. It was very cool to see all these rockstars of the bands I loved playing in a 'superband'. I was blown away but I never found any recordings of the band. Years passed by but the memory remained fresh.
Parkland did however record an album. It was recorded around the turn of the century by Glenda Langue at her place and at De Krinkel in Beerse. It never got released. Until now. Parkland's Nico Jacobs found the original master some time ago and gave it to me. And now I give it to you.
