Complete Silliness by Gay Cowboys In Bondage

Gay Cowboys In Bondage were one of South Florida's best and most accomplished hardcore bands. Hyperactive, spazzy and silly on the outside; top shelf musicians on the inside. With just enough seriousness and anger in their lyrics to keep it spicy.

They, along with such bands as F, Morbid Opera, Broken Talent, The Drills, The Abusers, S.L.A., and many others, defined a vibrant and fun hardcore punk scene in Dade and Broward counties.

The 1980's were a hostile time and South Florida was a hostile place, but in spite of many obstacles placed in their way, the SoFla punks got to play lots of cool shows and release quite a few great records.

Gay Cowboys In Bondage were cassette pioneers. Their cassette album, "We're Not Gay But The Music Is" was probably the first ever released in South Florida. It was hugely influential in the direction that TPOS took when it first started (and pursues to this very day).

And their 7" EP "Owen Marshmallow Strikes Again" is a classic of Reagan Era punk/ hardcore.

We at TPOS are delighted to present both releases, along with an exclusive unreleased track, together as "Complete Silliness". We hope you dig it now as much as we have since the early eighties.
