Afterthoughts by Gary Schmidt

"Afterthoughts" by Gary Schmidt is a new reflective solo piano release covering various landscapes of our inner world. The ten-track album is designed to take the listener on a reflective & contemplative journey. The release features mostly original works but includes three transcendental classical works. Two of the tracks feature the renowned cellist, Hannah Alkire.

Gary is a Canadian-born composer and pianist now living, teaching, composing and recording in Colorado. Even For A Moment is mostly solo piano, but Gary brings in some guest artists with additional instrumentation creating beautifully crafted duo arrangements on his first self-produced album.
