Gako, real name Patrick Ngako, is a lo-fi artist based in Southern California.
Born in NYC and raised in Cameroon, he learned piano on his own at the age of 10. As a teenager, Gako started beat boxing and creating instrumentals for singers and rappers of the Yaounde music scene.
Back to the US, he crafts his sound, filled with acid-jazzy retro vibes, poignant lyricism, and bouncy rhythms.
