This album was conceived while driving across the USA summer 2020.
The misty hills of western Pennsylvania, Thunderstorms across Ohio, crossing the Mississippi River in Wisconsin provided inspiration for the cooled down tempo.
The Badlands, Devils Tower, The Northern Rockies and the wildfires sweeping the west inspired the heat and distortion.
This is the first recording of all original Gaines Point Ghost smooth doom jazz.
The album was created between November 2020 and February 2021
at Coal Creek Studios in Bellevue WA.
