Graveyard Moon by Fuzz Lewis
Music in communion with the spirits in the palace of moonlight.
I started an spiritual ritual* practice on the Winter Solstice 2019, that reached a climax with the recording session for this album. It was under the full moon as summer ended, 2020, after immense effort which transformed my body, mind, and soul, in a gothic graveyard overlooking the city of Montreal, that these tracks were laid down. Recorded on a Zoom H4N via two 1960s vintage toshiba 11 ohm microphones affixed to the body of a 1990s vintage Norman acoustic guitar, in the silver darkness surrounded by ghosts and their stone markers.
In the moonlight, in the midnight, in the moonlight, midnight, moonlight.
*no animals were harmed, sacrificed, or otherwise involved, aside from eating as much Portuguese chicken as possible at any given time.
