FROSTBITE – Etching Obscurity (Reissue 2026, Black Lion Records)

Originally released in 2016, Etching Obscurity is Frostbite’s first full-length album, following their earlier EP. Out of print for a while, the album returns in 2026 through Black Lion Records.

This reissue features new cover art by Mark Erskine and retains the original recordings and mix. Etching Obscurity captures the band’s early approach to progressive black/death metal — melodic, aggressive, and uncompromising in atmosphere and execution.
