Black Mama by K.D.S & Stabfinger

Several years on from the previous K.D.S & Stabfinger collaboration 'Go Feet’, we're proud to present the latest instalment in Freshly Squeezed's increasingly popular 'Blue Cover' Series.

Since it’s initial release 'Go Feet’ has been used as the main-title theme for the American indie film ‘Lost Cat Corona’ inspiring French DJ (Got) K.D.S to once again joins forces with Stabfinger to deliver another loose and infectious slab of dance-floor goodness.

Black Mama is a rootsy lo-fi electro blues inspired by an early Son House recording. It's been given a 21st century makeover whilst allowing the character of the original recording to shine through. B side Sleep Rider meanwhile, is a jazzy electro swing number with all the fanfare and show-girl vocals one would expect of a single in this series.
