Silence screams, and it rings in my ear, listening for something that I just can’t hear,
And I remember when the trumpets blazed and my spirit drew me towards my flame

Darkness follows me into my night and my demons haunt me as I concede the fight
And I starve myself and I wait for it, to give me something that I just can’t fit
Up and down through the thin and the thick,
and the hours race, and the minutes... tick.
