Recif by Fraction

Recif is an hour-long experimental album originally streamed at the end of 2009 by the French label InFiné Music on its website. At the time, none of the tracks were officially released—and I never really pursued a proper release for it.

The album blends layered sound design, abstraction, and textured experimentation—created in a moment of transition and exploration. It feels both distant and familiar, like something resurfacing from beneath the waves

Fraction is the sonic alias of Eric Raynaud, a Paris-based artist sculpting sound into immersive, spatial architectures. His compositions drift between atonal drone, fractured rhythms, and generative textures. On Bandcamp, he shares raw experiments—echoes of larger works that explore the poetics of space, perception, and sonic matter.
