“現代版ジャズ・ロック”をコンセプトとした情熱的かつクールで新感覚なピアノ・トリオ fox capture plan。2015年に発売された90年代ロックの名曲群をまとめあげた究極カバー集「COVERMIND」の続編となる「COVERMIND Ⅱ」の配信リリースが決定。今作は90年代ロックの枠組みを外れ、主に2000年代の楽曲をカバー。先行配信第2弾は2003年にリリースされたアメリカのロックバンド Hoobastank の大ヒット曲「The Reason」。
　原曲の透明感ある壮大なバラード味を残しつつ、fox capture planらしいジャズロックサウンドにアレンジされている。
先月の「One More Time」リリースを皮切りに4ヶ月連続で「COVERMIND Ⅱ」からの先行配信を予定している。2023年のfox capture planからも目が離せない。



fox capture plan is a passionate, cool and new sensation piano trio based on the concept of "modern jazz rock". Their brand new album "COVERMIND II", a sequel to the ultimate cover collection "COVERMIND", which was released in 2015 and is a collection of famous 90's rock songs, will be released online this year.
This work is out of the framework of 90's rock and mainly covers songs from the 2000's. The second lead-single is "The Reason", a hit song by the American rock band Hoobastank released in 2003.
While retaining the clear and magnificent ballad flavor of the original song, it has been arranged into a jazz rock sound typical of fox capture plan.
Starting with the release of "One More Time" last month, they're plan to release lead-singles of "COVERMIND II" for four consecutive months.

Formed in 2011 with the aim of creating a piano trio sound that embodies the concept of a "modern jazz-rock," fox capture plan consists of three members, each with their unique personality.
