Road Closures by Coolgirl

Coolgirl is the solo electronic guise of Lizzie Fitzpatrick, formerly of Dublin alt-rock trio Bitch Falcon. Road Closures is informed by side two of Bowie's Low, Mica Levi, John Carpenter, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Suzanne Ciani, with lo-fi but lush synth pads variously joined by electric piano, sax, choral vocals and rasping harmonium. These concise and melodic tracks capture a timeless, nocturnal introversion.
