Protection Sounds by Ju-Ju Sounds
Ju-Ju Sounds is a group created by Silvia Bolognesi to explore the connections between music and protective/healing ceremony .
The group’s unique orchestration facilitates conjuring these elements as the combination of banjo and upright bass or the viola and bass clarinet without chordal accompaniment creates a sound that is reminiscent of transcendent traditional music.
Performed in an improvisational setting “Ju-Ju Sounds” is a combination of traditional music and modern jazz sounds.
