THE TETRAHEDRON has influenced life across the universe and through various dimensions. It is a monolithic entity appearing to observers as a giant, floating triangular pyramid with smooth, gray sides. As it gently rotates, it imprints ideas, emotions, memories, and other psychic information upon the people and broader civilizations that encounter it.
Various groups across time and space have attempted to harness the power of THE TETRAHEDRON for their own ends. Through methods utilizing the unique energy given off by physical entities with which THETETRAHEDRON directly interacts, a form of instantaneous transportation known as the Riftgate is developed at various points in multiple universes and throughout the timelines. This commonality across civilizations touched by THE TETRAHEDRON creates a link to a plane known as the Void, through which they find they can interact and communicate with each other. Special protection is required when entering the Void, usually in the form of a craft or special clothing; organic beings entering the Void without the necessary precautions have been known to develop various, gruesome forms of cancers unlike any other. Culture develops across the physical and temporal planes through special Void Signal transmissions. This form of communication essentially allows for trans-dimensional media broadcasts of all kinds.
